TECHNICS JAPAN – 612 CLASSIC VINTAGE RARE STEREO CASSETTE DECK WITH METERS

The Technics RS-612 is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was introduced by Technics in 1977.

2 heads, analog 3 digit tape counter, manual tape type selection with support for normal and chrome tapes with additional manual equalization selection, belt driven single-capstan transport. Tape eject is operated mechanically. Interested slanting type cassette loading. Level meters used on the RS-612 are analog needle VU reading meters. The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the RS-612 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.

RCA cable connection for playback and recording. Fully working condition with good quality recording.
